i do wish i could remember the melody of this song the lyrics of which i
am  going to send you next. that way i will be able to find out if i
need to make any changes in said lyrics. i guess i'll just have to rely

well, i think i'll just have to leave this song as it stands because i
have no idea how the melody goes. thus, there is nothing that can guide
me in making any change in the lyrics.

maybe, we can just treat it like a poem or a narration.

but i get the sense that these people are on the verge of breaking up
and  one is trying to patch things up to save the relationship. we have
no way of knowing though whether or not it is too late for them to do
that.
