dear diary,

by the way, for the sake of clarity, let me just repeat at this point
that ka art p. madulid is a clarinetist and a wind instrument instructor
in penarand, nueva ecija. this the reason why he became the musical
director of the musical training program of the Foundation for active
christian evangelization and service (FACES) purely on a voluntary
basis, and for no compensation.

of course, the songs i wrote using this mechanical way of writing songs
were intended only for my personal consumption. i had never hoped to
become a professional songwriter of any sort or consequence simply
because i knew i did not have the natural ability for it, or the musical
training or background to compensate for my lack of natural talent.

i took it up simply as a form of a hobby.

but then again, later, we were able to use these songs in a project to
raise funds for the charitable purposes of the Foundation for christian
evangelization and service (FACES) through the production of a homemade
cassette demo tape album which we called the... "Christmas way demo
tape.."
and we were able to solicit the help of some sponsors for the production
thereof.

and then, we were again able to use these songs, as the basis for a
workshop on music arrangement, singing, studio recording, editing, and
dubbing under the musical training program of FACES which culminated in
the production of a cassette tape album entitled... Search for your
dreams.." 

we were again able to raise funds through the production of the search
for your dreams cassette album for the benefit of the musical training
program of FACES, and the support of the san jose day care center
project of FACES in montalban, rizal. we were able to do this with the
help of sponsors which included, among others, josie and george
villareal.
